Academic Island in the Xianghu Lake Tourist Resort accommodates every BIRS-IASM workshop. Masks are optional whilst indoors on campus grounds.

Academic Island provides the following amenities:

• Coffee/refreshment breaks served twice a day (in the lecture hall room)
• Washrooms on the lower level
• Espresso machine
• Printer/copy machine (Block 2)
• Soft seating area with coffee side tables (Block 5, on cash honour basis)
• Double sided blackboard
• Several smaller conference rooms for work in private or with another person I your cohort
• Laser Pointer, chalks
• Notepads and pens

Lecture Hall:

All of the meetings/workshops will be held at the Lecture Hall on the second level, Block 8, Academic Island. Capacity: 50.
