Objectives

Our main goal, as with any successful workshop, is to foster lively interactions between the participants, leading to new ideas and progress in research. More specifically, we want to bring together experts on combinatorics and experts on moduli spaces. This will allow combinatorialists to learn about combinatorial problems that have arisen in moduli problems. Conversely, researchers studying moduli problems can learn about new combinatorial tools that may be helpful to their work on moduli spaces. It will also foster new collaborations on problems where expertise in both combinatorics and moduli spaces is indispensable.
