Description

The proposed workshop will bring together emerging and established researchers with expertise in a variety of disciplines, including pure mathematics, mathematical physics, and quantum information theory, to examine and expand the role operator systems play in each of these areas.
By bringing together early career and senior researchers from different fields, the workshop provides an important opportunity for ideas to cross disciplinary boundaries, stimulate new scientific collaborations, and support young researchers in developing their own research programs.
In addition to communication of new research results, specific interdisciplinary group work with focused research objectives will occur throughout the week.
This event marks the first workshop entirely devoted to operator systems and their applications, and, therefore, has the potential to stimulate significant new scientific advances.
